Who needs flea and tick control?
Everyone, but especially our cats that go outside or live with other pets that go outside. Ticks around here carry a terrible disease that has a high death rate called Bob Cat Fever, caused by a microscopic organism called Cytauxzoon felis that is transmitted by a tick bite. Have you seen any ticks this spring? We sure have.

We are asked often about feeding raw diets. Just like we can get sick from eating raw meat, so can our pets! And in some cases, they become carriers of disease for their human family members. Please avoid raw diets. These stories are becoming more and more common.

Another brand of raw pet food has been found to contain bird flu and has made at least five house cats presumably sick with the virus, health officials say.

Leptospirosis is not a disease to take lightly as it can infect your pets AND your family too! But we've got you covered! Our distemper vaccine already contains protection for leptospirosis. Give us a call if you aren't sure if your dog is protected. There is no vaccine for cats so best idea is to ensure your dogs are protected so they don't bring it home to your family or your cats.
