At the first of February we joined Faire.com, a B2B website for wholesale customers. We had no idea what to expect and now we’re in 11 new shops and 3 new states. Another day in the life of a small business owner. We love sharing these milestones with you all. We had a client place an order for 500 bags of granola. This is our 2nd biggest order to date and was completely unexpected during 1st quarter. We can comfortably bake 10 batches of granola in one day. With bagging and boxing this order took a solid 3 days. With other wholesale and online orders and product for our weekly Farmers Market, we made over 1,000 bags of granola in ONE WEEK! Bananas…just bananas! We love what we do 🥰

I got to visit a shop that carries our granola in Lake Mary, Florida. The Olive Pantry is a beautiful, family owned business with so many yummy products. I’m so honored to be in their store ❤️ Many thanks to Cindy for introducing them to our granola!

I found a notebook that had been tucked away in a drawer and inside was this note. It is a list of granola flavors I wanted to create. I was just playing around back then and seeing what I could create. I had no plans for success. I just wanted to stay busy and have a little diversion away from missing my kids who were off to college and figuring out life on their own. I didn’t even know how long I would last as a granola entrepreneur…to be honest, that word still cracks me up. I’ve never thought of myself as such. It’s a word made for innovative thinkers with mind blowing ideas…not me and my desire to make a little healthier snack. I’m sure people get tired of me saying how much this business shocks me…but it does EVERY SINGLE DAY! Of the 6 flavors listed on this note, 5 are best sellers to this day with Cinnamon Roll, Blueberry Muffin and Salted Caramel safely in our top 5 selling granolas. You never know what tiny little ideas will have tremendous impact on your life. I sure didn’t! AND I bet my husband never thought he would be working full time for a granola company 😃

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SMALL BUSINESS OWNER…I have a friend who once told me, “you can do hard things.” Today is a hard day. We started by saying goodbye to our best good girl, Izzy. She was a quirky, outspoken sweet pup who loved snuggles. We’re all a mess! Today is the day we are delivering our BIG order to Oklahoma City…and even on hard days, you still have to honor your commitments. So, off we go with 848 bags of granola. Wish us luck on our journey today, send us some prayers and love for our broken hearts and remember you too can do hard things ❤️
