We make plans and God laughs! Last week was a whirlwind - so many patients getting the care they need from the staff that makes things happen. While the week got away from us, we did celebrate our wonderful Veterinary Assistants behind the scenes with treat, gifts and reminders of their amazingness - but didn’t want to miss the chance to give them a shoutout! These team members help to make every day a lovely day ☺️!

Meet Anne! Though many of you are already familiar with her as she has been with us for around 6 years. She is a bright spot on a rainy day bringing joy and fun to the clinic staff. From our random National ‘insert obscure holiday’ notes in back to the pictionary games we play when she give us notes for each patient as they arrive 😅 Anne is a valued member of our team and we are so grateful to have her. Her favorite animal to intimidate is a duck because she’s a grandma to 15 mallard ducks so she has to stay on top of her communication! In her receptionist survival kit, she keeps coffee, Tylenol and partner in crime - Kaylee! Her calm in the chaos trick when things get a little wild is a brisk walk through the clinic, a deep breath and getting things done! Be sure to give Anne a shout out! She’s pretty awesome.

Meet Kaylee! She has been with us a for one year and we are excited to see her grow with us. She is a compassionate and caring voice when you and your pet are in need! And she is learning the ropes for patient care with our nursing staff while working toward her LVMT. If she could have one luxury item for the front it would be a mini fridge! What animal does she think would have the sassiest attitude? A Cat! If she could make her own hybrid species it would be a cross between an artic fox and a wolf. Be sure to give Kaylee a shout out for all her amazing hard work!

Meet Nikki! She is the newest smiling face to our team! She’s ready to greet you and your fur baby at your next visit! Some fun facts: she would rather clean up after a muddy Great Dane than bathe 5 angry cats. When asked which animal she wishes people brought in more of, she said fish - though she’s not sure what we’d would do with them! If her life were a sitcom, her theme song would be Ordinary Girl by Miley Cyrus! Be sure to give Nikki a shout out! We’re glad to have her on board 😁
