2025 Client Service Agreement
● New clients receive a complimentary in - person Meet and Greet prior to booking the first service. Clients may request as many additional Meet and Greets/Visits as they deem necessary for an additional fee.
● Confirmation: Eva Milligan (Eva's Pet Services) will send a confirmation text to the client a day or two before the day service is to begin. Technology is wonky at times. If you have not received a confirmation the day before service is to begin, It is your responsibility to contact Eva (Eva's Pet Services) to confirm. We never want your pet to be neglected due to a miscommunication or technology screw up.
● Keys: Please make sure to have spare house keys ready for the sitter either to hand to the sitter at the Meet and Greet, or somewhere safely hidden for the sitter to pick up on the first day of service.
• The client can also choose to leave a key with the sitter “permanently” to hold onto for regular/future bookings. All keys will be immediately returned to the client upon request or upon termination of services.
• If the client prefers the sitter to return keys at the end of each service, the sitter will leave all keys someplace on the property of the client’s choosing safely hidden on the final day of service and notify the client where they’ve left them along with a picture for reference. ** Clients may request in - person pick up and drop off for an additional fee if preferred. **
• In the event that the keys are lost, stolen, or other, the sitter is to notify the client immediately; and the sitter may be responsible for replacements, new locks, or the cost of hiring a locksmith if necessary.
● Cameras: I recommend and encourage clients to have multiple cameras in case of an emergency during the periods when pets are home alone.
• Overnight Stays: Clients must notify the sitter of any cameras in, on, or around the facility and where they are located.
● Clients must inform the sitter if any other person is expected to enter the premises at any point throughout the duration of services.
● Please leave all pet food and supplies out (table or counter), or somewhere easily accessible for the sitter.
● Clients must inform the sitter of all behavioral/health issues of their pets. This includes but is not limited to: anxiety, aggression, puppy shenanigans, crating issues, allergies, digestive issues, etc. Behavioral/health issues may result in a special handling fee.
● Eva's Pet Services does not normally charge per pet. However, if the client has more than 2 pets, each additional pet may be subject to an additional fee depending on services requested.
● Rates are subject to change based on the client’s and pet’s needs. As the needs change, the rates change.
● Schedule: Times on the schedule are approximations. If you are scheduled for an 8:00 am visit, it may be earlier or later than the approximated time.
● Times are first come, first serve.
● Regular, weekly clients keep their allotted times. We do our best to care for pets at their regular times, but during school breaks and summer, it may be harder to provide clients with preferred times.
● Please note that we also try to schedule with the shortest drive time route, so you may want the preferred 8am breakfast time, but you may end up with a 7 am, 7:30 am or 8:30 time slot.(Example: If you live in old town (front of mountain), another in Hidden Brook, another on Corral, and another on Shackelford, we will try to make a circle instead of going from one end of the mountain to the other and back.) I promise, your pet will survive. We will never let a pet go more than 12 hours overnight without a check in. Again, we try our best to hit your target preferred times.
● 30 minute visits are not exact. A 30 minute visit may be 25 or 40 minutes depending on circumstances. Times may be cut short in some instances. (Examples: Your pets are the boss. If it is 100 degrees and they are too hot, or 15 degrees and have done their business, they may not want to walk as far. If it is lightening and unsafe, the sitter will not walk as far for safety purposes). These are rare occasions, but do happen from time to time.
● Photo release: Eva's Pet Services uses your pet's photos to promote her business. If you don't want your pets photos used online, it is your responsibility to make sitter aware at the Meet and Greet or in text or email.
In Case Of Emergency:
● If the sitter is having an emergency that delays or prevents the required pet care, the sitter will notify the client and emergency contact(s) immediately. If none of the contacts can be reached, the sitter will contact a trusted emergency backup of their own to take over the service until the client can give further instruction. (My emergency backups are my daughter, my niece, and my mom (All have several references) and clients can request to meet as well at the meet and greet).
● If the sitter needs to cancel at any point prior to the start of the service for any reason, the client can choose to receive a full refund for any pending services, or use payment as a credit for future service.
**At NO point will the sitter to stop services without the client and emergency contact being notified, and making sure the pets will continue to be cared for in the sitter’s absence.**
● Eva's Pet Services does NOT charge any cancellation fees at this time. However, we reserve the right to change this policy IF last minute cancellations get out of hand.
VETERINARY AND EMERGENCY INFORMATION
In the event of an emergency, the sitter will make every attempt to contact you and your emergency contact(s). The animal’s wellbeing and safety is most important, and the sitter will seek appropriate medical care for your pet in an emergency, even if you cannot be reached immediately. The sitter will do their best to reach your preferred veterinarian, however, if your preferred veterinarian is not available, the sitter will bring your pet to another appropriate veterinarian clinic.
