Rabies incidents are rising fast here in southern Arizona. Please remember we require your pets to have had the rabies vaccine. This is a deadly disease that isn't nice.

We received word yesterday that the horse in the post from the other day was in fact positive for rabies. That horse was from the Eden area. There has been a positive fox found dead in Ft Thomas. There was a rabid coyote that attacked someone in Greenlee county this past weekend. And Cochise county has been flooded with positive rabies animals.

It is so droughty right now that all the wild animals are heading to the same water holes and feed areas and it greatly increases the spread of rabies. If your dogs or cats are not current on rabies, call today and schedule them. If you have horses and you live in an area where there are wild animals, it would really behoove you to vaccinate them!

Rabies is a terminal disease. Unvaccinated animal quarantine post exposure is very long and very expensive. I get that it feels like a lot of money if you have a lot of animals but trust me when I tell you it will be cheaper than what you have to pay to quarantine your animals that are exposed and not vaccinated and a lot less money than what you are going to have to pay for your own rabies treatment shots at the ER that are not covered by your insurance!

Vaccinate your animals. Vaccinate your animals against rabies for them and for you!

Please be advised, a striped skunk tested positive for rabies in the Hereford area recently and positive cases seem to be on the rise.

💥This is a good time to make certain your pets are up to date on their rabies vaccines.💥
Remember in order for me to take care of your dog, I require they have an updated rabies shot or a recent titter test.

If you have been bitten or your pet comes into contact with a wild animal, seek immediate medical attention and notify animal control.

I am grateful for the trust you have placed in me to care for your fur babies. I enjoy spending time with them. Currently, I have puppies due and will be slowing back down a little. I have been working long hours for the past three weeks, but I am now scaling back to spend time with the little ones. I will share photos of their cuteness soon.

The 2nd thing I wanted to share. I am booked about six weeks out. I'm going back to only working 5 days a week. My books are open until June 2025. Standing appointments are welcome and encouraged. With the holidays coming up, spots are being filled fast. If your a current client I highly encourage you to reserve your chosen day.

During work hours, I prefer to communicate via text messages. The work phone has been experiencing technical difficulties since its purchase, with many individuals reporting that they are unable to hear me or have left voicemails I've never received. I'm pleased to announce that I will be upgrading to a new phone this upcoming week, which will improve the clarity of our conversations. The new phone will allow for easier bookings and better communication. The previous phone has been nothing but problems, and despite numerous attempts to rectify the situation, the company has failed to provide a solution. We will maintain the same phone number and hope that the new phone will improve our communication.

Important updates!
A reminder I'm currently out on vacation. I'll be arrive home sometime tomorrow to answer messages. I am about a month booked out so don't have any upcoming appointments but can get my current clients on the schedule for a future date.
With this summer heat, I'm having to change to summer hours. The van doesn't stay cool long. So for the safety of the dogs ill have limited summer hours. At this time I'll be taking a list for those wanting to get on my schedule after summer. Until then I'm unfortunately having to close the books to new clients as I cannot run the whole day in this heat.

As a solo entrepreneur, I am currently handling a large number of calls and messages. To maintain safety and focus, I do not answer calls while driving or attending to clients' pets.
