It’s time for another animal spotlight and to officially welcome Whiskey to the farm!!

Whiskey our new goat… oh sorry I mean horse! came with his buddy Chip and I can’t say enough good things about him. He is the absolute sweetest horse I have ever been around, he loves cuddles and getting groomed, will let you sit with him while he takes his daily naps in the sun and overall just has the most amazing character 💕

Remember! The farm will be opening this spring/summer to the public for special events and evenings in the farm to enjoy not only the animals but you pick flowers and farm fresh vegetables and eggs!! Along with the family friendly atmosphere away from the bustle of the city and the town!!

Follow this page and our partner farm Sycamore Ridge Small Farm LLC for updates about our farm nights!!!

Our new friends are settling in nicely so I think it’s time for a Friday spotlight!

Meet Chip!

Chip is 14 years old and full of s***k, he has taken to acting like Queenie’s little brother and just teases her non stop but she loves him for it! He is so full of character and personality but is a bit of a dork when it comes to common sense 😂 but that’s okay we love him anyways 💕
He is sweet as pie and although still learning to be around new people (he has had the same owners nearly his whole life so new people are a bit scary!) he is a huge cuddle bug once he gets to know you a bit!

Come out and visit Chip as well as all the other animals this spring and summer at our farm events! The farm will be opening certain days for people to enjoy not only the animals but also our gardens full of flowers to pick bouquets with and veggies straight from the plant to enjoy with your whole family 💕 follow our page and our sister page Sycamore Ridge Small Farm LLC for updates!!!

What a productive weekend!
Some big things happening on the farm and even bigger things to come!
My poor jeep got to play the role of farm truck once again. We spent the weekend building what will eventually be our new rabbit house and reintroducing Queenie to her grain bag because she may be getting some new friends!!!!

Owning a farm is always eventful!
Today started normal but as we stepped out to do morning chores we saw one of our rabbits hopping across the yard! Then her buddy was shortly behind her! These two were our first testers on going cage free and having more of a pen style housing, but as we feared they had dug out! Does anybody keep their rabbits in pens and if so any suggestions to keep them from digging out?! Everyone is back safe and in their holding cells well we investigate a safer way to keep them contained!
