Buddy and Lindy had a successful fair! After nearly losing him last fall it is extra special to see him completely bounce back and have a good show! 1st place gelding halter, 2nd place western pleasure and 3rd place horsemanship🩷🩷🩷

So proud of this team🩷 My daughter and our 27 year old mare Sugar. They had a great fair, 1st place ranch pleasure, 1st place trail and in the top half for times in games. After many years as a broodmare, it makes my heart happy to see Sugar feeling frisky at 27 and enjoying her 'retirement' as my daughters horse🩷🤗

Rode her a handful of times last fall, had her out 3 days this spring, 2nd ride today and she's riding around like a quiet broke horse🥰

Been a bit since I updated on Buddy....he is doing so good, Lindy is back to riding and he appears to have already regained most of the lost muscle! I am shocked at the fast recovery🥳

Buddy's bloodwork today was near normal🎉🎉🎉 Exactly one month to the day that this all started. Buddy got to be turned loose for the first time and boy was he feeling good!!!

Buddy came home from ISU today to continue his treatment and recovery at home. Still a ways from being back to normal but his attitude is good and we are happy to have him home🥰
