We just wanted to share this sweet story with everyone.
A cat showed up at our doorstep wanting to come into the clinic. We brought him in to find a way to identify the owner, but were unable to do so at the time. Our techs found the owners through a social media post and reunited the family. This sweet baby escaped and was missing for 3 weeks! Draco is home, happy, healthy, and most importantly, microchipped! We love seeing these happy endings.

Microchipping is important for finding faster reunions for you and your pet. It is especially important during the holidays when anxious pets are more likely to escape and go missing. We offer microchip services at an affordable rate; please call our office if you're interested.

America is turning 250 and we want to wish you all a safe and fun holiday! We will be closed in observance of Independence Day on Friday, July 3rd. 🇺🇸

Fourth of July Tips for Your Pets:
1. Keep tags/identification on your pets.
2. We recommend microchipping your pet. If your pet is microchipped, make sure your info is up to date.
3. If your pet is anxious during the holiday, consider behavioral therapy to help your pet. In some cases, pets need medications. Our team can you help prepare for the holiday.
4. Take an updated photo of your pet (although we know your phone is full of their photos! 😊)
5. Check your yard to make sure it is secure.
6. Leave pets at home when possible. Loud sounds and unfamiliar places may cause frighten pets to run away.
7. Pets may get curious, so monitor access to food, kabob skewers, charcoal, fireworks and sparklers.
8. Lastly, it’s warm out there and excess heat can be dangerous for pets. Provide shade, water and avoid keeping your pet in hot weather for extended periods. ☀️ 🌳
