Pet Allies has initiated a Volunteer of the Month program to recognize some of the outstanding folks who help at the shelter & clinic. The VolunteerS of the Month at the shelter for April are Joceylyn & Jason Rick, so it's a "twofer!" Jocelyn & Jason help walk the dogs and it is so needed at the shelter; the doggos love getting out of their kennels for some exercise. We all certainly appreciate their contribution to Pet Allies. Pet Allies has initiated a Volunteer of the Month program to recognize some of the outstanding folks who help at the shelter & clinic. The Volunteer of the Month at the clinic for April is Nancy Hudspeth. Nancy has been a volunteer for over a year at the clinic & works hard helping to recover the animals & more. Nancy is a smiling face at the clinic & is a big help! We all certainly appreciate her contribution to Pet Allies. Do you have a little time to volunteer? Do you like animals? 🐾 Pet Allies is in need of volunteers to help recover animals after surgery in our clinic. We have other tasks in the clinic as well, where we need volunteer help. You can work an early shift from around 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., or the afternoon shift from 1:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m. The clinic is open Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday each week. Pet Allies had a good week of adoptions & we have some wonderful "Happy Tails" photos of "smiling dogs!" 🏠 Our next Pet Food Pantry day will be Monday, April 28th, now that we are on the new schedule.

We want to keep you up on the "stats" at Pet Allies for this past week, so for those of you who like numbers, here you go. Our Pet Food Pantry is continuing to help folks as well. 🐶🐱🐾🐈🐕💕

Gary is an amazing volunteer dedicated to help work with and train "Piper" every week. She is a Lab mix approx. 3 years old and weighs approx. 45 lbs. "Piper" is very smart, playful & loving, has high energy & loves to play with other dogs. She has been at Pet Allies for several months waiting for her loving home. Come visit her if you're looking for a fun loving, active companion. 🐕🐾🏡💕
