Under new ownership since 2022, we, owner and operator Lisa Poste and kennel manager Steve Collins, are dedicated to providing exceptional care for your pet while you're away. One of us will be on-site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to ensure your pet is always safe and comfortable under our care. Our kennels are designed with your dog or cat in mind. We have installed state-of-the-art HD video surveillance cameras, or PET CAMS, for 24-hour, worldwide access to view your pet in real-time. Like many pet owners, we understand the deep attachment to our pets, considering them members of the family. At Heart of the Mountain Pet Resort, we treat your pet like part of our family, providing them with a comfortable, enjoyable, and safe stay in our heated and cooled boarding kennels. Your pet's safety is always at the top of our minds. All kennels are sanitized each morning, and all pets receive clean bedding daily. Dr. Despain of Cedar Ridge Pet Clinic in Snowflake is on-call at all hours should a medical issue arise. Our kennels are heated and cooled with large, secure exercise and play areas that are available for your pet while they are on vacation at Heart of the Mountain Pet Resort. We do not allow co-mingling of pets from different households. Our kennel manager can administer any of your pet's medications as necessary, including pills or capsules, eye ointments or drops, or even injectables. If your pet requires medication during their stay, please bring a note with the dose, frequency, and any special storage instructions. We have a staff member on-site 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. All boarders must be up-to-date on vaccinations. *certain vaccines may be administered here upon request for boarders only.
