URGENT ‼️ Due to the catastrophic destruction caused by Hurricane Melissa, over the next two weeks the Susie Project will be collecting monetary donations to be distributed to a rescue in Jamaica very close to our hearts. We have worked closely with Negril Pup Rescue since 2022. They do incredible, life-saving work despite having limited resources. Now, much of the rescue facility has been destroyed. Funds are desperately needed to help rebuild and to help care for the sudden, devastating upsurge of sick, injured and homeless animals in Jamaica . Any amount you can contribute will help!!

Such an important message
Please heed these words !

🌧️ UN LLAMADO A LA SOLIDARIDAD: POR LOS ANIMALES, POR LOS HUMANOS, POR TODOS 🌧️

En momentos como este, cuando el cielo amenaza y la naturaleza nos recuerda lo frágiles que somos, hay algo que no podemos olvidar: solo el amor y la solidaridad nos salvarán.

Muchos animales están ahí afuera, sin refugio, sin voz, sin nadie que los proteja. Bajo la lluvia, con miedo, buscando un rincón donde no los alcance el viento. Y también hay personas que lo están pasando mal, vecinos que temen que su casa no resista, familias que necesitan apoyo, palabras, compañía, o simplemente una mano tendida.

Este mensaje es un llamado a todos:
👉 Si puedes, abre tu puerta.
👉 Da un pedacito de espacio a un animal sin techo, aunque sea por unas horas.
👉 Si ves que tu vecino corre peligro, no mires hacia otro lado. Invítalo a entrar, comparte tu abrigo, comparte tu techo.

La verdadera fuerza de un pueblo no está en sus muros, sino en los corazones que laten dentro de ellos. Que este momento difícil sea también una oportunidad para mostrar que Cuba es más grande cuando se une, cuando no dejamos atrás ni a los nuestros ni a los animales que dependen de nosotros.

Porque todos sentimos miedo, todos necesitamos calor, todos buscamos esperanza. Y hoy, más que nunca, debemos ser luz, abrigo y consuelo los unos para los otros. 💔🌱

Ayuda, comparte, protege.
Hoy ellos te necesitan.
Mañana quizás seas tú quien necesite un alma solidaria.

Update!!! Squid and Nacho have found their forever home TOGETHER!!!!! We are so excited that they get to grow and experience their new lives side-by-side since they have bonded so deeply!!!! Congrats Squid and Nacho!! 🐾🐾💜💜💜💜
