Koda is a sweet girl who was surrendered to WCHS. Upon entering our shelter, staff noticed right away that there were differences in her eyes. She was taken to the vet and it was determined that she had extremely high eye pressure causing her severe pain. It was determined the best course of treatment for her was to remove her eye.
She has been healed up for some time and enjoying a pain free life at the shelter. She caught the eye of a wonderful adopter who came just to meet her. They had a great meet over the weekend and Koda was adopted!!
Thank you for adopting a special needs cat! Happy Tails to Koda!

Mama Bonnie is looking for her forever home! She is getting fully vetted and is set to be spayed in July. She is a sweetheart, who loves to carefully jump up on you for hugs and attention. In her foster home, she enjoyed sitting and laying with them and getting attention.
She can be wary of men but can start to warm up after multiple slow introductions.
Bonnie has done well meeting other dogs, and has some friends she enjoys playing through the fence with. Bonnie is looking for a home without cats or small animals. She has met kids around 3, 8, and 9 years old and done well.
Bonnie is incredibly smart and agile. She is not a dog that can be left alone in a yard, as at this time she will climb, jump, or squeeze her way out. This sweetheart would love to be in a home of her own with people she can love forever. She has a big heart and deserves so much after all she’s been through.

Meet Mellie! She is 2 years old, and guessed to be a Yorkie mix! She weighs just about 10lbs and is a sweet and playful girl! She loves walks and hanging out with her people.
Mellie is looking for a home without other dogs. She is not a fan and would like to be the queen bee of your heart!
Mellie was found as a stray and shortly after being picked up, experienced a seizure. Our veterinarians examined her and performed bloodwork, which all came back great. They advised that seizures can occur in some dogs due to stress, ingesting something toxic, or that some dogs just have 1-2 seizures a year without a need for medication and not due to a specific condition. She has been doing great at our shelter and has not had another seizure.
Mellie is healing up from her spay and will be available for meet and greets soon, so if interested, please visit our website to complete an adoption application!
Darling little Cricket has been adopted! He came with his littermates and is actually getting adopted with a sibling.
Bumblebee (now Gracie) was adopted a few weeks ago from WCHS. Her adopter came back for her brother, Cricket! They have a wonderful and caring owner and will be very well taken care of!
Thank you for adopting x 2! Happy Tails to Cricket!
