Today is National Mom and Pop Small Business Owners Day!

Today is the perfect day to reintroduce and spotlight our small business, Tails In Tubs, LLC.

We started this journey after moving back to Shippensburg to be closer to family and had trouble finding a dog groomer for our late, sweet (dearly missed) Maltipoo, Trixie.

Groomer Dave is originally from Juanita County, PA where he was born and raised. After working 24 years in the car business, he decided it was time to make his dream come true….business ownership. He attended HCC’s grooming school and apprenticed under a well known and talented groomer.

Mrs. Groomer Dave, aka Julie (native to Shippensburg, go SU ❤️ 💙 ) works full-time in the Human Resources field, but helps with the admin side of the grooming business.

Together, we are proud of what we built. 💪

Around the business, you may see our two pride and joys, Rogan (7) and Kenly (3).

Outside of 50 East King Street, our family enjoys riding our electric bikes, looking for the next fixer upper rental property, attending school events for our oldest, or enjoying time at home.

We are incredibly thankful for the extended family we’ve gained over the past two years from owning a small business in Shippensburg. We love what we do and enjoy interacting with all of our clients-humans and four legged! ❤️

Please, please support local small businesses. They are the heart of our community. Although separate, together we have the same vision.

Stop on in and grab your pup a nail trim and while your waiting: a hand massage. Then before you leave stop for a photo of or with your pup! 🥰 Your dog earned a treat by this point, stop with Howl Mountian Pet Kitchen to grab something.🤤

Sweet Lucy is feeling like herself on this Monday afternoon. 🥰

Lucy became friends with Groomer Dave as a young puppy. It’s important to accumulate puppies to safe grooming practices from early on.
