Attention Furry friends & Family, 🐾

Due to yesterdays storms we are experiencing phone issues. We are down to one line and can only receive one call at this time. If you do not reach us your first call you can try back or we kindly ask you to leave a message and we will return a call to you in a timely manner. If you would like to stop by during our hours we are happy to handle any needs directly in person as well. As more traveling is starting to happen, Barmyre kennels here in Shippensburg pa located at 434 Pinola rd is looking to hire part time kennel assistants. This job requires you to care for all animals from dogs,cats,birds, and an occasional pig 🐷. We do require working all holidays as well as weekend shifts. Each shift consists of AM and PM shift with AM being 7am/8am to 12pm/1pm and PM being 12pm/1pm or after school to 6pm. Reliable transportation is very much needed as we are taking care of live animals and must be on time to properly care for them. A flexible schedule is wonderful while working with our furry friends sometimes past our assigned shift times.🐶 We do have an age limit of 16 and up. If you are interested in applying for a position with us please stop by during our normal business hours as listed below and fill out and application feel free to also write any questions you may have on the application.

BarMyre Kennels will remain open during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. We have been given permissions, from the state, to continue to care for your pets needs.

Our staff is dedicated to any pets that may need to be boarded at this time. We have been given guidelines to care for any animal that may be from a household effected by the virus. We will follow these guidelines to protect both the animals in our care and our staff members. If you find yourself or someone you know in need of our services please give us a call and we will walk you through our vaccine requirements and current protocol.

Our grooming room also will remain open. We can meet you at your car for drop off and pick-up in an effort to help contain additional spread of COVID-19. You may stop in if you prefer. We will be assisting one costumer at a time. Please call with any additional questions or concerns. Thank you for your continued support.

We have another furry friend who is looking for a home! This is Carl, he's around a year and a half year old. Carl is a short hair border collie, he's neutered, and is currently up to date on all of his vaccinations. He is very friendly with both people and animals, Carl loves to cuddle but also has a playful side! Come out and visit him here at BarMyre, or call us for more information! Meet Charlie, he is currently looking for a loving home! Charlie is a 6 month old beagle mix, and is very friendly! He is neutered, and up to date on all vaccinations. He loves people, other dogs, and car rides! Help us find him a good home!

This is our 40th year in business under the same ownership! You are more than welcome to visit and tour our facility during our regular business hours from Monday through Saturday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. We also have Sunday hours from 6: 00 pm to 8:00 pm.
