Well....Halloween 2026 part 2 is a wrap. Pretty good turnout. Chunks first time with his owner in the group went very well in spite of the animatronics and strange looking trainer. Food was good as usual. Protection was very good ...making a lot of progress. Klaus worked with Byron after the club time ended and it went very well. Thank you to Elizabeth and Phil for capturing some photos for me. Weather was really good for working and all the dogs were very good. I enjoy getting people together and working in unity with their dogs.

Welcome New Customers Sammy and Juna with Chunk or as I affectionately call him Chunk A Dunk. You've already seen Chunk on here but it was so busy when he was dropped off I didn't get the welcome photo. Chunk is in his third week at this point and his owners are learning the "new" ropes. Chunk being a Bulldog is a tad stubborn but has really done well in the first two weeks. I'm loving how he is embracing the training now. Both Sammy and Juna are doing great following the training protocol that I've set for them.

Klaus participated in the Halloween Club evening event last night. This pup has nerves of steel. So nice to see how confident he has become and the trust he has developed in such a short time. This boy is ready (and waiting) for his forever home. Many people expressed interest when he was first posted. He's ready now to be meeting those potential adopters. This is such a nice dog I still can't believe he ended up in the shelter. This was his third time in club. Two other club members did work with him last night and he was very good for them. It appears that big. moving scary black cats are no problem! LOL! He continues to amaze me. This boy would be ideal for seniors, families and anyone who wants an easy sweet German Shepherd. Low to moderate energy. He hangs out with me while doing chores and just loves to be close to his person. P.M. me if you would like to me this boy in person. Adoption forms can be filled out with Golden State German Shepherd Rescue. He's a true gem of a dog!

Attention Club Members: OK...it's ON for the club time on this Saturday October 24th to take place in the evening from 5:30 to approximately 8:00. Halloween themed Pot Luck and pup costume parade. It will be a cool evening so dress appropriately. It is Fall! Volunteers for set up and clean up gladly accepted. Let me know per private message how many are coming from your family to allow for planning food quantity. I can also let you know what is planned so far for the potluck so we can get a well rounded potluck. If there are previous club members who would like to participate in this (and you have kept your training up) you are also welcome to come with a small donation for the time, I would love to see you and your pups. Just contact me in advance. See you Saturday for A Howling Good Time!

Klaus participated in Club time yesterday with club member Byron. I wanted to see how he would do with a stranger. I have had him out in club twice to work out his over excitability around dogs. He is much less distracted and nervous around dogs. I was pleased with how he did. Every time he gets better. Klaus is up for adoption through Golden State German Shepherd Rescue.
