The first sunflower shoot 🌱🌱 harvest is Wednesday! If you are curious about them, send us a message!

Don't know what to expect? The leaves are sturdy and have a texture like fresh spinach. Sunnies have a refreshing crunch to them, a slightly nutty taste with hints of lemon, almond, and seeds. They are perfect for sandwiches, soups, salads, scrambled eggs, and wraps. Plus they pack in tons of nutrition with vitamins A, C, E, K, B6, and B9 (folate) along with minerals including iron, potassium, and magnesium. Basically, they are awesome 😎

The next batch of microgreens is in progress! We have two salad mixes planted already (basic and spicy). Broccoli and peas go in tomorrow. They will be ready for harvest around August 5th!

Cilantro, the slow one of the group, should be ready in three weeks, around August 15th.

We're excited to announce our first steps towards providing super nutritious, locally grown produce to keep our community healthy and well fed. Starting with microgreens and herbs, Sky Hawk Farms will be growing pesticide-free, non-GMO greens year round. Our next batch starts on Monday! We're thinking radish and pea microgreens along with some cilantro 😋 Of course you can always request something specific as well 😀 Keep an eye out for the updates!
