Behind every great clinic is an even greater team… and I mean that with my whole heart. 🤍

I truly don’t know what I would do without these incredible humans beside me every single day. The love, care, compassion, hard work, and dedication they pour into our patients, our clients, and each other never goes unnoticed.

The Avenue Veterinary Co. would not be what it is without each one of them, and I feel so lucky to do this alongside such an amazing team!

BTS of an CCL surgery day!! 👀Sweet Charlie came to see us for surgery on his second ACL after previously having his other leg repaired. With the help of the extremely talented Dr. McDonald, a longtime friend of Dr. Julianne’s, surgery day was a success, and he’s officially on the road to recovery 🤍

We know surgery days can feel nerve wracking as a pet owner, which is why we always want our clients to know just how much care goes into every single step behind the scenes.

From anesthesia monitoring, to laser therapy, to recovery care afterward, there’s SO much happening during surgery days that most people never really get to see. Every detail matters when it comes to keeping your pets safe, comfortable, and cared for ✨

And yes… he absolutely soaked up all the extra cuddles once he woke up 🥹

The best update of all? Charlie is now running around and doing GREAT!! His comfort and stability have improved so much since surgery, and seeing him happy and active again is exactly why we do what we do!

On this Memorial Day, we honor the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. 🇺🇸

Today is a reminder that our freedom did not come without a cost. We remember and reflect on the brave men and women who gave their lives so we could live freely, serve our communities, and spend time with the people and pets we love most.

Because of their courage and selflessness, we are able to do what we love every single day, and for that, we are forever grateful.

From all of us at The Avenue Veterinary Co., we wish you a meaningful Memorial Day as we remember and honor those who gave everything 🤍

This week is all about recognizing the people who help keep veterinary medicine moving, and trust me when I say… the veterinary healthcare team is NOT complete without veterinary assistants 👏🏼

These two do so much more than “help.”
They comfort nervous pets, love on your animals like they’re their own, help keep appointments running smoothly, jump in wherever they’re needed, and somehow still manage to make every day better for everyone around them.

Good veterinary assistants are rare.
The kind with huge hearts, unmatched work ethic, and genuine compassion? Even rarer.

That’s why I call them my unicorns ✨
I truly don’t know what I’d do without them, and I feel incredibly lucky and blessed to have them as part of The Avenue family.
