If a photo is worth its weight in words, how much would this one be worth?

Michelle came to us in pretty rough shape 385 days ago. For a little over a year, she has waited patiently for her forever. She's watched her playmates and friends go on to new lives, endured and completed heartworm treatment, and met several potential families that just weren't the right fit. She has held a special place in our hearts, and we are so happy to see her find her forever.

Congratulations, Michelle and your new family! You definitely deserve it!

Do you know me?

I was wandering around Autumnbrook Circle and, because this heat is hard on us thick girls, a nice man brought me in and called the shelter. A nice officer picked me up and brought me in to some nice soft blankets, cool water, and yummy treats. Now, I'm just waiting on my family to find me. Could you please have them call the shelter at 501-834-2287 or call if you have any information? Thank you for sharing!

You know who needs a lot more credit than they get? Our volunteers!

We had the wonderful opportunity to meet Ms. Martin, Ms. Cameron, and Mr. Callahan this last week who shared their time with us and volunteered at our facility! They helped us to organize and go through laundry (which we are blessed to have donated by our community), walk dogs, spend some TLC with our cats - just to name a few things! And to top it off, they sent us this lovely thank you note.

Our animals love when volunteers come by to visit. It helps with socializing and teaching them manners and gives them more exposure than what we can provide as staff. We have several wonderful volunteers and we wish we could name you all here to let you all know how appreciated you are!

So, in response to this gesture and to all our volunteers, old and new alike, thank you for all the time you've spent here with us, and we appreciate all that you do!

Do you know me?

It may be hot out, but I was craving some pizza. My parents weren't available to give me a ride, but a nice lady and her daughter picked me up afterwards from Marco's pizza on Hwy 107. Clearly, the pizza put me in a food coma because I couldn't remember the way home. So, I'm crashing here at the shelter in the meantime. Can you let my people know that I'm here? Or call the shelter if you have any information? Thank you for sharing!
