Now is a great time to add a four legged friend to your family! All adoptions are half price making all dog adoptions only $25 and cat adoptions $20! That adoption fee covers initial vaccinations, spay/neuter, and microchip like always!! Be sure to call and schedule an appointment to come meet the adoptable pets!

Help us wish Kayte a happy birthday!!🥳🎉🐾🐈
Kayte is a huge asset to the shelter as she helps provide enrichment to the shelter cats as well as focusing on the shy and scared cats that need one on one attention to make them more adoptable!

Pictured with Kayte is adoptable Ash! He’s about 8 months old and came into the shelter as a stray. He’s very cuddly and loves to purr and make biscuits! If you’re interested in adopting Ash be sure to call and schedule an appointment to come meet him! The shelter’s phone number is 903-892-7255.

Adopted!!

Second Update: Unfortunately it wasn’t quite the right fit, so Precious is back at the shelter and available for adoption again!! She’s such a sweet girl and will make such an awesome addition to the right family!

Update: Precious went into a foster to adopt home this afternoo

Precious wants to go home with you🏡💕

Precious is around 40 pounds, roughly 2-3 years old and absolutely precious!! She is great with kids, crate trained, and housebroken! She loves attention and would love to cuddle up with you on the couch!

‼️Short term fosters needed for medium and large dogs‼️🐕🐾

The AC in the adoption building isn’t working, and it will take a couple of days to get it fixed. In the meantime, the shelter is asking for short term dog fosters until the AC is back up and running again!

Please call or visit the shelter tomorrow if you’re interested in fostering a dog. Staff can help you find a good match to hang out with for a couple of days!

🐶 Our Animal Shelter is FULL! 🐱

Sherman, the Shelter is currently at capacity, which means now is the perfect time to meet an amazing pup or two - like Olly and Ozzy! These sweet terrier mix brothers are just 7 weeks old and arrived at the shelter this week.

Families - Even if you’re not ready to adopt or foster, consider coming down to the shelter to volunteer! Our staff and animals need all the help our community can give.

Meet Chalice! A young adult spayed female who’s been patiently waiting for her chance to find a family of her own. She’s an independent girl who enjoys the company of people and other dogs, but she’s just as happy doing her own thing.

Chalice had the chance to spend time in a foster home, where she was noted to be a well-behaved girl. She enjoyed going on walks and impressed her foster family with her excellent leash manners. While Chalice may be a lower-energy companion overall, don’t be fooled—she has her playful moments! She loves spending time in the yard and occasionally gets the zoomies, showing off her silly side.
