Animal control officers in East Hartford, Connecticut are investigating a bizarre case of vandalism involving the town’s squirrels. Two squirrels were found near Naubuc Avenue and High Street with their fur painted. One was bright blue and the other was red, according to photos shared by East Hartford Animal Control. Officials say the animals appear to be unharmed but are urging anyone with information to call 860-291-7572. The mystery has stirred concern and curiosity in the community as authorities work to identify whoever is behind the colorful stunt.
