Celebrating the Fourth of July? Don’t forget about your furry pals! 🐾 Keep these tips in mind to ensure a safe and stress-free holiday for them:

1. Create a Calm Zone: Set up a quiet space where your pet can retreat from the noise. 🌙
2. Burn Off Energy: Play with your pet before the festivities kick off to tire them out. 🎾
3. Check tags & Microchip: Double-check their tags and microchip info—better safe than sorry! 🐕
4. Skip the BBQ Scraps: Those tasty leftovers can be harmful—stick to their regular treats! 🍖

As a reminder, PAW REHAB will be CLOSED Friday July 4th and will be closing Thursday Juy 3rd at 12pm. Normal hours resume Monday July 7th.

Last week, our PAW-some rehab assistant Katelyn went to Missouri to expand her rehab knowledge with the Canine Rehabilitation Institute (CRI).
The advanced knowledge and hands-on skills she’s gaining will help us provide even more effective and compassionate care to every animal we help.
We’re so lucky to have someone so dedicated to learning and healing on our team! 🐶🐱🩵

Way to go Katelyn!! 🤗

What Our Clients Are Saying
⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
"My dog has been going here twice a week for the past few months after a scary incident when we discovered she has disc issues that caused her pain and hindered her mobility. I was really worried about her quality of life, and her primary vet recommended trying out Paw Rehab. The team here has been amazing — not only have they helped her increase her strength and mobility, but they’ve also taught me so much about home care, exercises, and compression techniques we can continue between visits. She’s doing so much better now — she’s springy, happy, and clearly feeling more like herself again. I’m so grateful for the care, compassion, and knowledge they’ve given us!"

🐾 Dogs can benefit from underwater treadmills just like humans! 🐾

Hydrotherapy, especially with underwater treadmills, is a popular and effective rehab tool in veterinary medicine. The buoyancy of water reduces stress on joints while still allowing pets to exercise and build muscle. It's commonly used for dogs recovering from surgeries like ACL repairs or managing chronic conditions like arthritis.

Not only is it therapeutic, but many pups actually love their spa-like sessions!

Join us in celebrating PAW REHAB’s 9th birthday! 🎉🩵

PAW REHAB was first created in May 2015 and officially opened its doors to the first patient on February 1st, 2016! Our first patient was actually Dr. Bak’s beloved pet named Apple (who also happens to be our logo inspiration!) Our first client/patients were George and Bella, who were seen on February 2nd and 3rd. Since then, we are now approaching almost 2,400 patients over the years. 🐱🐶

Stay tuned for May 2025 for some more PAW REHAB fun facts! 👀
