I need everyone to be normal for five minutes. Actually, never mind. LOOK at her.

PinkPalace Breakfast at Tiffany’s (F1 Sphynx/Devon outcross) has informed management that she is no longer interested in contributing to the future of the breed and would instead like to dedicate herself full-time to being beautiful.

After recently losing a litter, we’ve made the decision not to move forward with Tiffany in our breeding program.

Before the rumors start:
No, she isn’t sick.
No, she isn’t retiring because of health concerns.
No, she doesn’t know she’s retiring.

She is current on vaccines, has a clear echocardiogram with no evidence of HCM, and will be spayed prior to placement.

What she does know is that she wakes up every morning looking like this and expects the world to adjust accordingly.

🔊We are not considering breeder placements.

This is a companion home opportunity for someone who appreciates: dramatic eye contact, unsolicited supervision, being judged from across the room, owning what appears to be a suspiciously intelligent forest creature

Monday update: I opened my eyes this morning and immediately remembered I am not PinkPalace I’m Ready For My Closeup.

Because if I were Monroe, I’d be waking up after a weekend in Aurora, Colorado for the TICA cat show put on by the Econo Cat Club, where I finaled in ALL 12 rings and earned FOUR Best Kitten finals. 💅

Instead, I am a regular person with responsibilities. 🙄 Annoying.

Monroe, however, remains booked, busy, and completely unbothered. A huge thank you to all of the judges who included her in their finals this weekend. We are so grateful for your support and recognition.

Special thanks to Bill for getting her to Colorado, keeping her in beautiful condition all weekend, and ensuring her diva behavior remained within acceptable limits.

And thank you to everyone who works so hard to put these shows on. From the club members and clerks to the judges and volunteers, these weekends simply don’t happen without you.

We’re incredibly proud of this little girl and excited to see what comes next. ❤️

Meanwhile Monroe’s biggest concern today is finding the warmest blanket in the house.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads!

To the human dads who swore they didn’t want a cat and now have a camera roll full of blurry cat photos.

To the cat dads who share their pillows, their snacks, and somehow end up being the favorite human in the house.

To the dads who scoop litter boxes, pay vet bills, and never hesitate to spoil their furry children.

And of course, a special Happy Father’s Day to the sires who have helped shape the Pink Palace family.

Our boys have given us so much more than beautiful kittens. They have given us generations of loving companions, show cats, lap warmers, troublemakers, and tiny naked personalities that have brought joy to families all over the country.

The truth is, they probably have no idea how important they are. They’re too busy demanding dinner, stealing blankets, and acting like they personally run this establishment.

Today we celebrate all the dads, both human and feline, who make our world a little sweeter.

Today was a big day at Pink Palace. ❤️

We teamed up with our friends at Riverwest Animal Hospital and Dr. Heidi Kellihan for an HCM screening clinic, and I’m thrilled to share that every one of our cats and retirees scanned CLEAR.

One of the best parts of the day was seeing some of our former kittens come back for screening. So far, they have all scanned clear as well. There is nothing better than seeing owners continue to prioritize their cats’ health long after they leave our home.

By the end of today, 60 cats will have been screened. I am incredibly proud of every pet owner and breeder who showed up today. HCM does not care if a cat is a beloved pet, retiree, or show cat. Screening matters.

Responsible pet ownership is about more than love. It is about being proactive. HCM screening is one of the most important ways Sphynx owners can advocate for their cats. Early detection saves lives. Regular screening helps owners make informed healthcare decisions and provides valuable information that helps breeders work toward a healthier future for the breed.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make today a success. Special thanks to Badgerland Sphynx, Caramita, Patricia, and Briana for keeping everything running smoothly.

“Cat shows are no place for children.”

Hard disagree.

Cat shows have been one of the best ways for our family to spend time together and share our love of cats. The kids are not just along for the ride. They are learning, participating, and becoming the future of our cat fancy.

These little people are tomorrow’s exhibitors, breeders, judges, and mentors.

A huge reason so many young people get involved is the encouragement they receive from leaders like Patricia Shaiper Loynd. As the TICA Junior Exhibitor Chair for the Great Lakes Region, she has inspired countless kids to step into the show hall and discover just how much they belong there.

We are proud to know her and grateful for everything she does for our youth.

The future of our hobby is already here. ❤️🐾
