Tacky Shack Feed Store carries a complete line of large and small animal feeds, pet supplies, farm supplies, home decor, purses & much more. As of February 2, 2022 CC no longer will provide grooming services for TS.

Today was the last day CC provided their services in Tacky Shack Feed Store. It was a emotional day for everyone. Clients, staff & owners. We parted our ways with hugs & tears. We’ve had a wonderful run pairing up with CC, & wish them the absolute best on their new endeavors. They will now only have the one salon in MW, all groomers/bathers from Shepherdsville will now only be in the MW location. They’ve taken all files & documents to that location so all clients can continue on with the services there. We will remain open, & provide simple pet services like nail trims, ear cleaning, gland expression. No appointments necessary for those services like always. Our hours have changed though.

We are clearing out our horse tack! Tack only. Amazon & online services have made it basically impossible for us to compete with their prices & accessibility. So all horse tack will be 75% off starting today. This excludes lead ropes. We will still keep those in stock. So this includes horse blankets, saddle pads, bridles, bits & more.

⭐️⭐️We are hiring for a full time receptionist! Days will be Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday. 8am-6pm during the week & Saturdays 8am-3pm, insurance is available & paid vacations. Starting $10-$12 depending upon experience. Job includes answering phones, scheduling grooms, carrying out feeds, running a register, maintaining the lobby.

Drug & drama free is a must.

⭐️ We are proactively hiring for part time kennel staff. This is a lovely position for someone available evenings & weekends. Hours available 5-7ish PM during the week, 7am-11am or 5pm-7ish PM weekends. This position involves walking dogs, cleaning kennels, feeding, medicating, playing with the dogs or cats, laundry, & standard facility cleaning. We board big dogs, little dogs, playful dogs, old & young dogs, some are scared & require lots of patience. We have a fabulous kennel staff now but we have consistently stayed full so I’d like to double our staff for each shifts. The goal is to have 2 people working on each shift. We are a drama & drug free facility, flexible scheduling, we offer insurance for full time, paid vacations & pay starts $10-$12 an hour. ⭐️

There’s always room to grow with us too, you can always learn more than one area & get more hours. If you’d like eventually to grow we do train groomers as well if you stay for the long haul! Our credit card terminal is down today & most likely tomorrow, please bring check or cash for all services until further notice. We are very sorry for the inconvenience BUT this is out of our hands.

Apparently our terminal is outdated & instead of contacting us to update the entire equipment they discontinued it completely now we wait for our new one. Thanks so much Nationwide 😑
