Beef & Sweet Potato Dog Muffins
Ingredients:
- 1 cup cooked ground beef (lean, unseasoned)
- 1 cup mashed sweet potato (cooked and cooled)
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup plain unsweetened applesauce
- 1 cup oat flour (or finely ground oats)
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a muffin tin or line it with silicone liners.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, mashed sweet potato, eggs, and applesauce. Mix well.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the oat flour and baking powder.
4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until fully combined.
5. Spoon the batter evenly into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 3/4 full.
6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
7. Allow the muffins to cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
Storage:
Store the muffins in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
