Horse owners, we need your help! 💚

Researchers are conducting a nationwide survey on Equine Endocrine Disease to better understand how these conditions are diagnosed and managed, as well as identify opportunities for improved owner education.

If you've ever owned or cared for a horse, your input can help provide valuable insight into the equine community's experiences with endocrine disorders such as PPID (Cushing's Disease) and Equine Metabolic Syndrome (EMS).

Every response helps paint a clearer picture and supports future education and research efforts that benefit horses and their owners. Please consider participating and sharing this survey with fellow horse owners to help spread the word!

Horses can get sunburned too! Especially those with light-colored skin, pink noses, or white markings. Watch for redness, peeling skin, sensitivity, or hair loss around the face and muzzle during the warmer months.

Help protect your horse by:
☀️ Providing shade during peak sun hours
☀️ Using equine-safe sunscreen on sensitive areas
☀️ Applying UV-protective fly masks or sheets
☀️ Keeping skin clean and hydrated

A little prevention goes a long way toward keeping your horse healthy and comfortable all summer long!
