In a world that can sometimes seem overwhelming, one young girl's compassion and determination are shining beacons of hope. Meet Avery, a 7-year-old animal advocate from Bedford County, whose kindness and generosity have touched the hearts of many.

With a heart full of love for animals, Avery embarked on a mission to make a difference in her community. She spent her weekend crafting bracelets, pup cups, and other items, which she sold to raise funds for local animal shelters, clinics and rescues. Her efforts paid off in the most wonderful way – she raised enough money to cover an entire day of spays and neuters here at BCAC.
