💔 She’s Been Waiting For 196 Days… 💔
Her name is Poppet. She’s sweet, loyal, silly… and she’s spent 6 months watching families walk past her kennel.
Day after day, she wags her tail with hope. Day after day, she watches other dogs leave, and she stays behind.
Poppet is 5 years old. She loves belly rubs, squeaky toys, and curling up beside you like she’s known you forever. She’s happiest just being near her person. She knows sit, shake, spin, and speak! She is extremely smart and eager to please. She has been posted so many times and was even on TV! Still, for reasons we cannot figure out, it hasn't been enough to find her forever home.
She doesn’t want to share her family with other pets — she just wants to be someone’s one and only.
We try to give her all the love we can here, but it’s not the same as home. At night, when the lights go out, she curls up in her kennel, alone. She deserves better than this.
