I had a client come to the verge of tears this morning. 🥲
It's not what you think.
It was their first follow up after a go home. I always say, "Tell me the good stuff first. I want to know that before any of the bad because we can always clean that up."
She said, " He is so good Lisa, it makes me cry when I think about it because I was on the verge of rehoming when we came here".
This was information I didn't know prior to....but.... people are so frustrated by the time they seek out help, it is somewhat expected.
She told me about all the changes that she noticed. All the good stuff. Getting more emotional as she went through it all. I was a bit taken back. Most people come in and point out all the bad stuff that's still occurring in the home and we work through it. I was just in awe of the client finding so much good in what the dog was doing!
It's a reminder to myself how much we can help the dog be successful. If the dog is successful than I can feel accomplished in what we worked through here.
It has really lifted me today and sometimes I need to hear a little praise too I guess. 😅 Just don't try to pet me. 🤣🤣🤣
