Father_Daughter Reptiles Ball python enthusiast with 15 years experience. Due to my daughters and my own love for ball pythons, we decided to start breeding them.

I have loved reptiles since I can remember and used to catch Garter snakes down by the creek behind my house as a kid. I showed so much love for snakes especially that two different teachers of mine gave me their snakes that they kept in their classrooms for years because they knew I'd take great care of them and enjoy them. That was one major factor that was implanted in me to eventually own many

snakes and evolve a hobby I love so much into a business. Timing is everything and while I wish I had started this sooner like 10-15 years ago, I feel fortunate and blessed to be able to do this at all. Having my daughters follow in my love of snakes and helping me out makes it flat out amazing. We are just starting out and slowly trying to build our collection up as well as build relationships, both on a business and personal level with some of the best in the industry. After really studying this guy and his pastel siblings that came from an import X really crazy looking pastel which I believe is carrying a new hidden gene, I and some other breeders feel like this may be the single gene that was hidden in mom. Still lots of work to do with the project but it is at least starting out interesting.

After looking at these pastels closer and closer I'm definitely starting to see some major differences. These are clutch mates from my African import male X Pastel female. Both of them look different than most regular pastels I've ever hatched or seen but one of them is for sure not just a pastel. Look at the differences in the blushed heads (one looks almost super pastel like) and if you've seen the import male I've shared on here then you know there's definitely no pastel in him so this tells me that the import is definitely affecting the pastel gene. It'll be interesting to watch the change on these 2 and try and figure out what I'm working with in my import genetics 🤔

Two more confirmed locks this morning and they're both ones I'm really excited about. Gravel X Yellowbelly (obviously going for Highways) and the one pictured is Super Orange Dream X Leopard Spider. Check out the Super OD in the pic he's bashful I guess and he's built up the substrate in a pile covering their naughty bits lol.
