It already feels like a lot of fun, and it’s only Thursday morning! ☀️⛅️⛅️

We’re thankful for a fun, competitive horse show right up the road and for the opportunity to spend the week doing what we love.

We’ve debuted new combinations, stepped into new divisions, and seen so much progress from both horses and riders. That’s always the best part! Like Daneli Miron said, “sixth time’s the charm.” 😂😂

A few young horses will wrap up their week and then it’s on to Boone County for the rest of us.

Just don’t mention that last part to Michael… we haven’t told him yet. 😉

It’s Rock Creek Week! 🏆

One of our favorite weeks of the year. We’re looking forward to enjoying all the excitement and being reminded just how much fun it is to watch a competitive, well-run horse show.

Today we celebrate WC Doll Me Up, aka "Dolly," as she shifts from the show ring into retirement.

With a show record including wins at the World's Championship Horse Show, Lexington Junior League, All American Horse Classic, and more, Dolly came into Boehmer Saddlebreds as a star in her own right. Like all the best stars, she served as a guide - for Dr. Jamie Boehmer, as she made her journey into the American Saddlebred show ring.

Together, the pair enjoyed fourteen wins & reserves in the extremely competitive Country Pleasure division, with top ribbons from Ocala International, All American Horse Classic, Shelbyville, Mane Event, Blue Ridge Classic, and more.

Dolly has a forever home with Dr. Jamie Boehmer, who is grateful for this once in a lifetime horse and all the memories they have made together - with many more to come!

We are super disappointed to hear the Burlington Spring Horse Show is canceled for this year (although we get it and will be sending our donation). While we wait for the next opportunity to show, we'll live in the fun we had at the Road Horse and Pony Show last weekend!

Proud of this group of owners, exhibitors, and horses!

We are reminded that this horse showing "thing" is a journey... a bumpy, messy, frustrating, scary, but OH SO REWARDING AND FUN journey! Thankful for this supportive group!
