We’re getting it done today! We have 2 dogs and 5 cats getting altered! Plus we ordered more microchips, vaccinations, heartworm test, and heartworm prevention!

We got five new kids today!
A friend told us about a property he had driven past that had a bunch of dogs hanging around outside. We went to check it out today and we were greeted by a pack of 13 fat happy dogs!
We talked to the owner and she was more than willing to give up some of the dogs.
There were three puppies, 2 males, and 8 females. Some of the females had already been spayed but it’s so costly the owner couldn’t afford to alter all of them.
So she decided to give us the three puppies and the two male dogs, leaving her with only adult females.
Unfortunately we don’t have the funds to help her get her remaining dogs altered, but hopefully by leaving only females there will be less chances of litters in the future. 🤞🏼

Brandy slipped out of her collar when she arrived at the vet Monday. Her owners desperately trying to get her back but Brandy was having too much fun playing chase in the mud. We set two live traps, and this morning we had a surprise! We caught Brandy! She’s now back at the vet, of course the last place she wants to be lol but she’ll be home soon!

Thanks to the help of a neighboring shelter, this momma and her 9 pups are all safe and starting new life’s!
Sheba and 4 of her pups went to a different shelter, and the other 5 pups are with us.

Lily, Daisy, Tulip, Brutus, and Spunky have all been altered and vaccinated and are now ready to go to new loving homes!! 🐾💙
