Today we celebrate the dads who wear the hooks and hard hats — the linemen who work tirelessly to keep the lights on, and then go home to light up their families’ lives with love, strength, and sacrifice.

To every father who has climbed poles by day and told bedtime stories by night, who has missed holidays to answer the call of duty, and who leads by example in both work and life — we honor you.

Your legacy is not just in the lines you’ve built, but in the children you’ve raised.

Andy Price, owner of American Safety Utility Corporation, is bringing power, purpose and preservation to Leesburg. His company, founded in 1982, supplies electric utilities with the tools and testing they need to work safely.

With 60+ employees at his North Carolina headquarters, Andy recently opened a second location on Highway 44, featuring a high-voltage test lab and full tool outfitting services—with plans to grow big in Florida.

But his biggest impact? Lineman Ranch.

Formerly the Paquette Tractor Museum, the site is being transformed into the new home—relocated from North Carolina—of the International Lineman Museum, Hall of Fame and Fallen Lineman Memorial, honoring those who built America’s electrical grid. “This is the greatest story never told,” Andy says. “It will be something truly special for the community.”

Artifacts date to 1865. Florida’s J.D. Thompson—of the Pulitzer-winning Kiss of Life photo—is among those honored in what will become the nation’s largest lineman destination.

He’s also launched The Venue at Lineman Ranch, a picturesque new space for weddings, parties, festivals and other celebrations.

“We’re bringing jobs, history and new experiences to Leesburg,” Andy says.

🙏 A Prayer for Linemen – Hurricane Season 2025 🙏
From the International Lineman’s Museum and Hall of Fame

As another hurricane season begins, we pause to lift up every lineman across this country—those who stand ready to brave the storm while others take shelter.

Lord, we pray for their safety.
Watch over them as they climb into danger to restore power and protect lives. Give them strength, clear minds, and steady hands. Shield them from harm, surround them with angels, and guide them home to their families after every storm.

We also pray for peace and comfort for their loved ones—the ones who wait and hope.

These heroes carry more than tools; they carry a calling. And we honor that.

We stand with every lineman. We pray for every crew. We trust in God’s protection.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
