Dr. D. C. Hansen graduated Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1973. Dr. Adam C.

After practicing near Watertown, SD for a couple years, he came home to practice in Shelby and has been here ever since. He lives in rural Avoca, IA where he and his wife Cindy raise Thoroughbreds. His son Adam graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine and now works at the clinic. His daughter Vanessa was also a graduate of Iowa State University and now resides in Des Moi

Dr. Brandi L. Huddle graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2008. She is a 2000 graduate of Tri-Center High School and also received a B.S. in Animal Science in 2004 from Iowa State University. Her interests include small animal medicine and surgery, equine medicine, bovine and ovine medicine and surgery. She resides with her husband Chuck and their son Charles near Panama, IA. Hansen

Dr. Adam C. Hansen graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2010. He is a 2001 graduate of AHST in Avoca and also received a B.S. in Animal Science in 2005 from Iowa State University. His interests include bovine production medicine and surgery, small animal medicine and surgery as well as equine medicine with an emphasis in equine dentistry. He resides with his wife Tammy and their two kids, Ethan and Elayna, in Avoca, IA. Dr. Mike Bladt

Please remember to keep plenty of water available for your pets through this extreme heat. They are unable to sweat, so they don't handle heat well. Avoid playing fetch and taking them on jogs. Keep them inside as much as possible until this heat subsides. Please share to help as many pet owners and pets as possible.

As many of you know, our feed store in Minden was completely destroyed by the tornado on April 26th. S.V.C. Livestock Products is currently functioning out of our red and white building on Main St. in Shelby. We ask for your patience as we work through some of the issues restocking our products. We have a limited space, so our inventory will also be limited at this time. Please call the Shelby Vet Clinic to reach Alan for any of your feed needs or questions.
