Shelburne Village Dog Park Closure Notice:
The Shelburne Village Dog Park (SVDP) is located on land designated by the State of Vermont as Class 2 Wetlands. Due to state restrictions on allowable maintenance activities, excessive growth of vegetation has limited the ability of the Town and the SVDP Committee to provide an enjoyable park experience during the growing season. Therefore, the SVDP Committee has decided to temporarily close the dog park for this season, beginning Wed, July 9, 2025. The park will be reopened in October 2025 (or after the first hard frost) when the weeds and mosquitoes have receded.
