She offers private one-on-one coaching sessions both in person and virtually. She started training her own dogs in 2000 and worked outside the home, with a full-time job. In 2010 she took an interest helping more dogs, and she learned much from hands on experience. She picked up books and learned. In 2018 she took a leap and started her business Mecca's All Breed Dog Training. With learning and hands on experience she started her journey. She has helped many clients and their dogs. She continues to learn from other experts in the field from all over the world. Supreme Member of Association of Professional Dog Trainers since 2018. Completed the Master Course Aggression in Dogs 2022 and every year does her best to attend the AID Conference. Continued her education and successfully earned Certified Family Dog Mediator (FDM) L.E.G.S. Applied Ethology Mediation Professional Course and she continue to add this into her training as she works with clients. She trains outdoors from Spring to Autumn and then converts to online during the colder seasons. She goes to client's home when the coaching sessions need to be there. She understands reactivity and how frustrating this can be for people. Using positive reinforcement training with a holistic approach to working with animals. She is very observant to a dog's body language and does adjust training when needed. She feels no dog should feel uncomfortable or forced.

A visitor is coming into the home, I help to create a pattern of what happens when a visitor arrives.
Your dog may decide to pick up a shoe 👞. Dogs are learning to live in our human world. I change how you respond to your dog picking up your shoe. Don't chase your dog, dont yell or try to grab the shoe. I want you to go to your dogs toy box. Search that box 📦 and make it so interesting. Keep going through the box eventually your dog will be curious and drop your shoe. Pick out a toy and drop it on the floor, reach for it as if to communicate to the dog this is mine.
I have ideas 💡 and as your local Family Dog Mediator 🐕 I keep waiting for my next client.

This Wednesday I have an Initial Consultation for Resource Guarding.
A 6- year old German Shepherd. Resource Guarding is natural, we humans do it too.
As I work these cases, there is management in place.
Dog to human Resource Guarding is step one. Teaching the human and dog.
It's different when there is dog to dog resource guarding. More management, safety and training.
This dog has not been around a lot of dogs and is timid around strangers.
My mind is already thinking about, my first steps with this dog. My approach to meeting this dog.

Squirrels are fascinating to watch. This year as I set up training sessions with a dog, that absolutely must chase squirrels
My set ups were planned. I would sit with her in an environment with squirrels, and reinforce her for just watching with me. The environment was helping in the training.
I put a leash on her and walk in a safe environment. She could see the squirrels but she was also learning, when the leash is on this is not a time to chase.
She is a high energy dog, and I always work with the dog in front of me. I still allow her to chase squirrels when I am not in session, but once a set up is ready the training begins.
Chase is a natural instinct and it's exciting. Over the year she has improved.
Small steps are better than trying to go too fast.

My Basic Obedience/ Manners package has remained 6 ( 1 - hour ) sessions.
I come to your home. Private one-on-one sessions do help both you and your dog.
Dogs learn best in familiar environments..
What I changed in 2025 was to complete this package in 3- weeks. Training sessions are 2 - times a week.
Why these changes? To help keep training consistent each week, which helps you and your dog be successful.
What I have learned from my past experiences. Often there is a dogs behavior that is concerning . I allow for one behavior to be discussed and we start working on that behavior.
During the 3- weeks you are connected with me. You can text, call or email. I want to know how everything is going.
The package 📦 is full of value. This reflects my experience as a professional certified dog trainer.

My training sessions are private one-on-one in your home. I believe every owner needs to be strongly connected with their dog or dogs. I believe in every dog needs to be socialized and trained. A puppy has a critical stage in the beginning of life and that is the first 12 weeks with Mother and littermates. I cannot express how important this is.
There are 7 habits of highly successful dog owners those would be training, exercise, good food, leadership, play, management and patience. Every dog is an individual and they deserve to have access to these. Training is the best way to communicate with your dog. Dogs deserve exercise and that would be mental and physical.
