Meet Marvin – The Shy Guy With a Sweet Side

Marvin came to us as a stray, so his past is a mystery. What we do know is that he’s a gentle soul just starting to learn that people can be trusted. Right now, he’s a little shy and reserved, but every day he shows us small glimpses of the affectionate boy he’s becoming.

Marvin’s secret weakness? Churu. This tasty treat is the key to his heart and the fastest way to earn his trust. Pair that with some gentle head scratches, and you’ll see him slowly close his eyes in pure contentment—it’s his quiet way of saying “thank you.”

He’s still a work in progress, but with patience, love, and a calm environment, Marvin will blossom into the loyal companion he’s meant to be. If you believe the best things are worth waiting for, Marvin just might be your perfect match.

Nala: Hotdog Champion & Gentle Soul

Nala may have mastered the art of catching hotdogs mid-air, but what she really wants to catch is someone’s heart. This gorgeous brindle Cane Corso was surrendered when her family had a baby, and while she’s shy and reserved at first, she’s also gentle, loyal, and quietly sweet. Loud noises can spook her, but once she feels safe, she’ll rest her head in your lap and show you just how much love she has to give.

Nala would thrive in a calm home—older, respectful kids are best—and she may even enjoy the company of a mellow male dog to help show her the ropes. She doesn’t give her heart away easily, but when she does, it’s forever.
