2024/2025 Packerland Bird Dog Challenge awards banquet Kane and I ended up taking first place dog of the year in the open pointing division and Hayden Falish handled Kane to a third place dog of the year in the amateur pointing division, other notable pointing labs includes Kandel (handled by Colton Falish) amateur pointing division second place dog of the year and Wick a Kane/Kandel pup handled by Jake Lautenbach fourth place dog of the year open pointing division. Needless to say the pointing lab has made its mark in this competition.

Packerland Upland Bird Dog Series has come to an end, these events are so enjoyable competing against like minded dogs and handlers. Kane and I managed a pretty consistent series. Congratulations to all that competed.

With less than ideal conditions, snow and heavy snow in the fields made for some lost downed birds, Kane and I managed to take another first place. One more competition in this series to go.

This one was on me a double tap but still a great placement, two more Packerland competitions in this series. North Oak will be hosting there club challenge in two weeks February 8th. Two bird sets with the fastest time advancing, come on out for some friendly competition.
