🐾🦃 Thanksgiving Pet Safety Reminder! 🦃🐾
Hi, friends! Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and we know our furry friends will be giving us those irresistible puppy-dog eyes at the dinner table! 🥺🐶 But let’s keep them happy AND healthy by knowing what’s safe to share and what’s not. 💛
✅ Safe for Pets:
• 🦃 Plain, cooked turkey (no skin, bones, or seasoning)
• 🥔 Mashed potatoes (no butter, garlic, or salt)
• 🥕 Carrots (raw or cooked)
• 🍠 Sweet potatoes (plain, no marshmallows or sugar)
• 🌱 Green beans (steamed, no seasoning)
• 🍎 Apple slices (no seeds or core)
❌ NOT Safe for Pets:
• 🚫 Turkey bones or skin (choking hazard + unhealthy fats)
• 🚫 Stuffing (onions, garlic, and spices are toxic)
• 🚫 Gravy (too fatty for pets)
• 🚫 Cranberry sauce (sugar and additives = no-go!)
• 🚫 Desserts (especially chocolate and anything with xylitol)
• 🚫 Alcohol or Caffeine (never ever!)
💡 Cranberry Tip: Plain, unsweetened cranberries are safe! ✅ But remember, NO cranberry sauce. ❌
Let’s make this a happy and safe Thanksgiving for ALL family members—two-legged and four-legged! 🐾💛 Share this with your fellow pet lovers to spread the word! 🐶🐱
Wishing you all a paws-itively wonderful holiday! 🦃🍂🧡
