🌍🐴 "Few animals have contributed to human progress as profoundly — and quietly — as the horse. From ancient nomads on the Eurasian steppes to modern Olympic arenas and backyard barns, horses have carried goods, ploughed fields, won wars and comforted hearts. Even in today’s high-tech world, draft horses still work organic farms, mounted rangers protect wildlife, and therapy ponies bring joy to hospitals.
In recognition of this lasting partnership, the United Nations General Assembly adopted resolution 79/291 on 3 June 2025, declaring 11 July “World Horse Day.” The resolution calls on governments, schools, businesses and individuals to celebrate the role of horses — and to tackle the challenges they face in the modern world.

🌟High Horses Executive Director Alex Keats attended the first-ever Lawson's Finest Liquids SIPosium which brought together more than 100 nonprofit recipients of the organization’s incredible Sunshine Fund (2018-2024)!

☀️Lawson’s celebrated the Sunshine Fund recipients and facilitated a “day filled with storytelling, insight sharing and meaningful connection as nonprofit leaders came together to learn, collaborate and celebrate their collective impact.”

🌼Alex networked with other non-profit leaders and shared how the Sunshine Fund donation has benefited our 'Harness the Healing' Community Impact Campaign to expand our High Horses programming to include services for Veterans, at-risk children and the elderly.

💛We are so grateful to Lawson’s Finest Liquids for choosing High Horses to be among the nonprofits honored with a donation from the dynamic B-Corp organization.
