Some people have reached out to ask how my health is now since I've had the baby so I figured I'd do a quick update... I almost feel like my self again since having Paisley, unfortunately though, it was discovered that I had a Hernia from surgery shorty before I had her. Yesterday I had an ultrasound done and it showed that I had a loop of intestines in my hernia which means its more serious than they thought and I need to be really careful to ensure that they don't twist and it become life-threatening, according to my dr.. they have now ordered a CT scan for a better view and I will meet with a surgeon on April 8th.. I'll be needing another surgery and then hopefully I will be completely healed. What a long road this has been..😔

On Feb 20th at 3:21 a.m., Sweet Miss Paisley Grace Burns made it into the world! She's perfect and healthy. She and I are doing great. I still have a road of recovery, but my body can finally focus on itself! Thank you for the continued prayers and texts I have received from those that have reached out!

I am still very slowly healing. Yesterday, I met with a cardiologist as I've been experiencing some heart palpations that haven't been explained and seem to be getting worse. Lots of tests have been ordered. Blood work got done yesterday, and I get a heart monitor put on on Friday and an echo done Jan 2nd. Dr said I could have been born with this, and the accident caused it to make an appearance or, this could have been caused by the trauma of the accident. All these tests will hopefully give us an actual answer of what it is and what caused it. However, if it is what she expects it is I will need a minor outpatient heart surgery done after my baby Paisley is born in March.. it was also discovered that the day after surgery, I had an ekg done, and it showed a possible heart attack, but no other testing was unfortunately ever done... this all being said, I will not be returning to work any time soon. I miss all of my pups and customers, but I have to take care of myself right now and my unborn little baby. So far, the pregnancy has been going well. I hope everyone is doing well, and I want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
