Stay with me here for story time.

Well, plans certainly did change in a hurry. Our plans of having our first bid board last Saturday were disrupted by a devastating shop fire that Friday morning that took our entire February group. 6 ewes and 8 babies. While we’re still trying to find out how the fire started, we can say for certain it didn’t start with anything on the livestock side of the shop. Though that loss has been terrible to stomach, we’re grateful the fire stayed off our main barn with the majority of the stock and older babies.

While handling that, we had to make the decision to keep extra of December group back for our kids.

But we were able to secure a lot on the annual Wisconsin Club Lamb Association sale Sunday March 15.

And we’re pretty proud to offer these out of our AI group. We think either of these will add to your seasons show string and as an improvement to your breeding plan.

We couldn’t decide, so we’re letting the buyer pick. Choice of tags 2604 & 2607 with a Ram/Wether option.

Here’s to closing another year of lambing with the last baby born early this morning.

Farming in general is a roller coaster. We’ve had our share of miserable years, but fortunately this year was an absolute high.

Amazing December group.
Fantastic February group.

15 ewes gave us 25 babies, with some absolute bangers standing. Us being the ewe hoarders we are, you probably wont see many of them for sale.
