Dear Pride & Pedigree Clients,
It’s come to my attention that some Clients may not be aware of our appointment-based system or may need a reminder, so I thought I’d take this opportunity to clarify. P&P typically sees just one pet family at a time. We never kennel or crate our 4-legged clients, nor do we keep clients prior to or after their appointments unless it has been previously discussed and agreed upon. I do my best to set expectations on completion times and always text a client 15-30 minutes prior to pick-up time to make it even easier for pet parents. Not only is timeliness appreciated, but it is also expected. I work very hard to stay on schedule to provide a calm and smooth experience for every dog. Even arriving early can affect another client’s session. Additionally, please specify if there is a specific time you need the grooming to be completed. I’ll do my best to accommodate your needs. I fully understand that appointment-based grooming doesn’t work for everyone and understand if P&P isn’t a fit. That said, if you are more than 10 min late for your appointment, you may be asked to reschedule. If you are more than 10 min late for pick-up, late charges may apply.
We greatly appreciate your understanding in this matter.

I stopped to open the window in the groom room and turn around to this. Piper is quite the circus dog and Buoy is just part of her show🤣 She uses the chair to jump onto the table, no invitations needed.

Pride & Pedigree was highlighted in The Daily Groomer as one of “The Best Groomers in Texas”!
P&P was never intended to be a high volume business with an advertising budget and employees. Instead, it was a BIG dream with a SIMPLE goal, to offer a welcoming and supportive environment for both the Pup and Parent. I wanted anyone who chose P&P to feel comfortable and to feel like Family. I couldn’t have predicted how quickly our clients would spread the word, as we never spent a dime on marketing, yet stopped accepting new Clients in less than a year’s time.
This dream has become something personal for the clients I share it with and absolutely none of this would have been possible without them. Clients like Judith Halaszyn come to mind. Not only was she my first client, she would tell literally anyone with a dog how P&P was the only way to go.
I’m also grateful to my parents for planting the seed, as grooming dogs wasn’t even on my radar, I just knew I wanted to work with dogs. My husband then watered that seed by supporting my resignation from a 6 figure job and pushing me to stick with it when, after less than a month, I decided I’d made a huge mistake. My formal training at Texas AllBreed Grooming School helped the seed to grow and my time at The Fireplug Inn helped it to bloom.

A business is never just about the owner. It's about the people you surround yourself with and who support you. Thank you to everyone who has been part of my journey and is still here to watch me grow.
