A little update from Merrifield’s Goldens:

First off, we figured out why Poppy hasn’t had puppies the last two heats. Our Yadi boy’s s***m has no motility. We are unsure what is causing this but plan to do some basic bloodwork in hopes to be able to correct it. If not we will be retiring him a little sooner than expected. If anyone has experience or knowledge about this we would love for any input!

Second, we did find a stud for Penny this heat since we couldn’t use Yadi and she is expecting puppies around May 17th! This litter will be dark red! We also had Chloe bred to Chief again and she is expecting puppies around May 12th!

Although we are sad to not have Yadi puppies, we are excited to have puppies in the near future because it has been so long! We have a waiting list started for both litters so feel free to reach out if interested in getting on a list!

Hope y’all had a Merry Christmas! We are excited for a new year and hope to have puppies in the near future! Poppy is in heat and will hopefully be bred within the next few weeks! That will put our first litter of puppies this year being born around the end of March if all goes well! If you have a Yadi & Poppy puppy drop your pictures below! Would love to see them!

UPDATE: Unfortunately with only a little over a week before she is due, Poppy has no belly to back up pregnancy along with no other signs 😔. We are extremely bummed about this but will try again next heat and go from there. She seems to be healthy and happy though so hoping this was just a one time thing. Sorry to all my people looking forward to getting one of her puppies this season!

Our girl Poppy is expecting puppies around October 11th! This should put puppies ready to go home a couple weeks before Christmas! I have a waiting list started so message me if interested and if you’ve gotten a Poppy puppy in the past I’d love to see pictures of them now in the comments! 😊
