Why is it important to teach your horse to correctly stretch while undersaddle?

A horse that stretches while moving engages its back muscles, promoting suppleness and
"throughness." Meaning the horse is using its body correctly, with energy flowing from back to front.
This helps to build strength and stability, which are essential for balance and performance.

If you’re new to the horses, or just looking to expand your knowledge, we are happy to help! Each lesson (or EAL session) is tailored to each individual to enhance the experience.
