Dr. Kendra had a great time organizing this event focused on calf health and colostrum handling! Thanks to Wagner Farms Inc. for hosting the discussion and Purina for helping put it on!

Today, we had the privilege of hosting a peer group focused on colostrum quality, quantity, and management. It was an inspiring day of collaboration with a fantastic group of forward-thinking farmers—all coming together with the health of our newborn calves and the future of our herds in mind.

The conversations were rich with insight, and we’re grateful for the many takeaways we can bring back to our farms to continue raising the bar on calf care.

A special thank you to Dr. Kendra and the team at Valley Vet for their support in organizing this event, as well as Amanda from Purina for helping make it all come together. And of course, thank you to OJ's Midtown for providing the delicious food that kept us fueled throughout the day!

Service Spotlight: Digital Radiographs

VVC is proud to launch our X-Ray service, our latest service dedicated to providing our clients and their animals the very highest quality of medicine!

Using our X-Ray machine, we can diagnose fractures, trauma and degenerative changes to help guide treatment and deliver better outcomes for calves or cows.

We now have the ability to bring this powerful diagnostic tool directly to your farm, removing the cost and inconvenience of transporting them to a referral hospital.

Reach out to VVC or your herd veterinarian if you would like to learn more about our new service!
