💔Let us introduce Mama Minnie & her babies. 🐾

Their story is one of heartbreak—but also one of survival.

Mama Minnie and her four puppies were found abandoned in the middle of nowhere, locked inside a metal cage. Her babies were only a few weeks old. There’s no easy way to say it: they were left there to die.

But Minnie refused to give up on her babies.

For days—maybe even a week—she kept them alive with no shelter, no safety, and no one looking out for them. She protected them the best way she knew how and loved them fiercely through it all. 💙

Thankfully, a passerby spotted them and made a call. Through an incredible network of animal advocates, fosters, transporters, and rescue partners, Minnie and her babies were brought to safety and eventually made their way to Blue River.

Now it's Minnie's turn.

After everything she's been through, she remains one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet. She's calm, gentle, loves cuddles, and would make an amazing family companion. She adores people, does well with other dogs, and we think she'd be wonderful with young children. 🥹

And her babies—Ted, Ben, John, and Harley— are exactly what puppies should be: playful, silly, curious, and overflowing with love. They are 100% adorable and seem to have inherited their mama's wonderful personality. 🐶

💙 Meet adoptable Dixie! 💙

Dixie is only 6 months old but is the perfect mix of sweet, playful, and loyal. Her favorite things include cuddling with her people, playing with her foster brothers, going on walks, and enjoying a stuffed Kong or a good chew bone. 🥰

This girl loves everyone—including other dogs and cats! She enjoys trips to the dog park, has great recall, and would make an amazing walking, hiking, or running buddy. She also has a goofy side and loves stealing her foster brother's favorite ball just to prance around and show it off. 😂

Like many rescue pups, Dixie can still be a little timid in new situations. When she first arrived, even being inside a home was scary for her. But every single day she grows more confident, brave, and trusting. Watching her blossom has been incredible. 💙

Dixie is kennel trained, learning great house manners, and is eager to please. Most of all, she just wants a family to love.

‼️We know our community can help Juliette‼️

This is Juliette, you’ve probably seen her posts, and she’s been through more than most dogs ever should. 💔

She was abandoned by her people. Nearly starved to death. Left in a rural shelter facing an uncertain fate. Somehow, she survived long enough to make it into a foster home… and eventually even into a Newsweek article.

But the one thing Juliette still hasn’t found? A forever home. 😔

For over 6 months, this sweet girl has waited patiently for someone to choose her. And honestly, we can’t understand why. She is:

🐾 Attentive to her people
🐾 Dog & Cat friendly
🐾 Happy to go on car rides 🚗
🐾 Loves walks
🐾 Potty trained
🐾 Kennel trained

Juliette is the kind of dog who will happily adventure with you during the day and curl up beside you at night. She’s loving, loyal, and so deserving of a family to finally call her own. 🥺

What else does she have to do to get noticed? Become famous in a national magazine? Oh wait… she already did that. 😭

This HAS to be Juliette’s week. Her fosters love her deeply, but they know her forever family is still out there somewhere.
