We love going to CountrySide K9 Kutz for our dogs grooming needs! Jelly needed a shave down because of how matted his coat was, but not to worry! He feels much better now and his luscious locks will grow back! 💙

EXCITING NEWS! 🎉 We’ve been selected by Miranda Lambert's MuttNation for a $5,000 grant. We are honored to have been chosen this year. Donations and grants, big or small, go a long way in helping us care for all the animals we welcome into Blue River. 💙

🎉 Welcome the newcomers, Jelly & Bailey! 💙 Who’s coming in this week to adopt these gorgeous pups?

🐾 Jelly is a happy-go-lucky boy who hasn’t met a person or dog he doesn’t love! Jelly is a young Goldendoodle with a puppy personality, but loves to cuddle and be near people. We estimate he is 1-2 years old. Jelly is a goofy boy with a great personality!

🐾 Bailey is a sweet husky girl. She recently had a litter of puppies, and she’s seen some harder times. Not only is she gorgeous, but also resilient and so eager to love others. She is a petite velcro girl who wants to be with her person. We estimate Bailey is 3 years old, which is great because her calm demeanor is here to stay. She might be the calmest and quietest husky we’ve met!

⛈️ Storm Update from Blue River Pet Rescue ⛈️
The early morning storm in Seward was intense, but we’re happy to share that all of our animals are safe ❤️🐾. We did sustain some damage to our fence and a shade structure which will need repaired, but overall, we feel very lucky compared to what could have been.

We’re keeping our spirits high and moving forward — and that means Dog Days of Junto is still ON for tomorrow! 🎉
