‼️From abandoned & neglected to happy & ready for a forever family; Meet Clark! 💙

Clark's story didn't start out very happy. He came to us after being severely neglected, found as a stray living on a broken chain. He was extremely malnourished, with his ribs clearly visible. 💔

But look at him now. 🥹

Clark has been in a foster home for the past few weeks, and he is doing AMAZING. He's getting stronger, learning what it means to be safe, and discovering that being a dog can actually be pretty fun.

Clark is a typical pup who hasn't had much socialization, so new people and environments can take him a little time to be comfortable in. But once he decides you're cool, his active, goofy personality comes shining through!

His foster says he gets along with all five of their dogs and happily entertains himself with toys and running laps around the yard. 😂 He's also done well with confident cats, although a cat who runs may activate his inner chase instinct!

He's already making great progress:
🐾 Learning his house manners
🐾 No recent accidents
🐾 Knows "sit"
🐾 Working on "down"
🐾 Loves toys and playing
🐾 Gets along with other dogs
🐾 Learning to trust and socialize
🐾 Soft, silky coat — likely a lab/golden/collie mix!

Clark is still young and learning, so he's a bit mouthy and likes to jump. Because of that, small children may not be the best fit unless their family is prepared to invest time in consistent training.

This boy has come SO far from the scared, starving dog we first met. Now he's ready for the next chapter.

Clark is ready for his forever. 🏡 He deserves a family who will continue showing him what love, patience, and a safe home feels like. And we know that family is out there.

👉For the shy pups. The ones who just need a little time. 🥹

Some dogs walk into a room and immediately want to be your best friend. Others hang back. They watch. They need to know that you're safe, that you'll be patient, and that you're going to love them before they're ready to give you their whole heart.

Milo & Ginny are those dogs. 🥹

🐾 MILO has the cutest little heart-shaped face! Don't let his size fool you—he's a short, medium-sized guy who is the perfect size for a house, apartment, or couch cuddle. At just 2 years old, Milo is a gentle, incredibly sweet lovebug who just needs a little time to warm up. He'd thrive in a calmer home, as rambunctious young kids may be a little overwhelming for him. And those little wrinkles paired with his beautiful coat?! 🥰

🐾 GINNY is another sweetheart waiting for someone to notice her. Once she knows you love her, she's ready to give that love right back! She has the funniest little hippy-hops when she's excited, and her long, soft hair is practically begging for pets and brushing. 😂 She's also just 2 years old and a perfect medium size. And we'll be honest—Ginny isn't the best at taking photos. But in person? She's adorable. Her personality shines once she gets comfortable, and that's when you really get to see what makes her special.

These are the dogs who can easily be overlooked.

They're not going to be the first ones running to the front of their kennel. They're not going to immediately show you everything they have to offer. But give them time, and they'll love you with everything they have.❤️

Don't overlook the shy ones. Sometimes the quietest dogs have the biggest hearts. 💙

National Dog Day is here! 🎉🐾

It started in 2004 to remind everyone how many dogs in rescues need love, safety, and a second chance. Thanks to this amazing community, we get to turn those second chances into pup cups, tail wags, and brand‑new beginnings.

🐾 Meet Charley—the biggest goofball with the biggest heart! 💙

Our giant Great Pyrenees boy came to us incredibly scared after being surrendered by his family. At first, Charley was shy and timid, unsure of all the new faces and changes around him.

But little by little, he's started to trust us and WOW, is his personality coming out! 🥹

Once Charley warms up to you, he's sweet, playful, goofy, and honestly just a giant lap dog at heart. 😂 He loves his people and is happiest when he knows he's safe and surrounded by them.

As a Great Pyrenees, Charley would love a home where he can get daily exercise and plenty of time outside. A home with a backyard where he can stretch his legs and hang out would be wonderful. We could also see him thriving on a farm—as long as he's still considered part of the family and gets to come inside and be with his people. 💙

Seeing Charley go from a scared, uncertain pup to the goofy boy we're getting to know has been so rewarding.
