On this Father’s Day, Scooter put on his bowtie collar and blew some bubbles to celebrate all of the dads! Isn’t he the cutest?

Happy Father’s Day to every father who shows up to be there for us when we need it the most. Dads rule!

Lexi found her forever!!!! Before her new parents took her home, she made sure to give Jeff, her foster dad, a loving goodbye and thank you. Senior dogs are loyal beyond words.

Thank you for adopting Lexi and giving her a second chance. Happy life, sweet girl!

Our foster families are Godsends for the sanctuary. They take in dogs in need, give them a bit of home life, and help us find loving homes for them.

Jill is one of those awesome foster parents. She takes on the hardest cases from both the county and our sanctuary, and gives many dogs a home for a bit before they find their forever. She also takes on hospice cases, giving senior dogs a haven until they cross the rainbow bridge. She recently took Noodle, who had neurological issues, and sadly, he passed away shortly after she welcomed him to her home. She now has Harold and two other dogs from the county, whom she loves like her own. Cogsworth, who was recently adopted by our founder’s wife, was also a loving foster of Jill’s. This beautiful human steps in over and over to help us support dogs, and thank you will never be enough.

Jill, you inspire people everywhere with your unbelievable selflessness, kindness, and giving heart. You are the epitome of love. We believe that angels walk among us, and you are one of them!

Let’s meet Smokey!

Smokey is a 9-year-old Dutch Shepherd mix rescued from an overcrowded shelter. When found, he was covered in fleas, and his skin was in awful condition. The shelter helped him tremendously before we scooped him up to stay at the sanctuary. He is now doing much better! He has an old torn ACL injury, which we are treating with water therapy and medication. This poor boy probably had a traumatizing past, but despite that, he is sweet and a true gentle giant. Consider adopting this beautiful pup and giving him the home he deserves.
