Puppy Preschool starts in less than a month 🐾

If you’ve got a new puppy, this is one of the best things you can do for them early on. Those first few months matter so much, and the right start makes a huge difference.

We’ll work on:
• Safe socialization
• Building confidence
• Preventing problem behaviors before they start
• Basic skills + better communication

Give your puppy the BEST start in life! Our Puppy Preschool class is designed to be a strong foundation for puppies ages 8–16 weeks—a critical learning period where positive experiences shape lifelong behavior.

In this class, we focus on:

✨ Building confidence
✨ Basic training skills
✨ Strengthening the bond between you and your puppy

There are people who “watch pets”… and then there are people who love them like their own.

Hi friends! I know I’ve been a little quiet lately, thank you all for your patience and support. Life’s been busy behind the scenes, but I’m still training and loving every moment with all of the amazing dogs and their humans! 🐶💛

I’m very excited to share that I’ll be offering group classes very soon! I can’t wait to see familiar faces and meet new pups in a fun, positive, and engaging environment. Stay tuned for details—I promise it’ll be worth the wait!

Emerson is an 8-year-old border collie mix with a heart of gold and some big feelings about other dogs in his space! He was rescued from a shelter in Georgia—and would you believe that he was on the euthanasia list befoe his person saved him?

When we first met, Emerson pulled on leash, fixated on other dogs, and could get pretty reactive. Fast forward a few months, and he’s now learning to share space calmly, focus on his human, and even rock muzzle training and cooperative care skills. 🐾

And of course… every session ends with his mandatory head scritches—it’s the law in Emerson’s world! 😉

I’m so lucky to be part of their journey. Emerson proves that with patience, consistency, and teamwork, even older dogs can learn new skills, build confidence, and strengthen their bond with their people. And an even bigger shoutout to Emerson’s owner who puts his needs first every single day. Their bond is truly inspiring🩷

This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with our community, meet some incredible adoptable dogs, and learn more about how you can support local rescues.

🐾Meet Kai, a 5-month-old German Shepherd puppy who’s just started his training journey! Kai is a rescue with tons of drive and energy—he’s got that spark that can be both exciting and challenging.

We’re focusing on building his impulse control, teaching him basic manners, and helping him feel more comfortable around other dogs. It’s so important to start training early with high-drive pups like Kai. Getting a strong foundation in place now will help him grow into a well-balanced, confident adult dog 🌟

Excited to see this little guy make progress! Stay tuned for updates as Kai learns the ropes! 🐶✨

Willow and Beau had a great session today! Willow is the newest addition to the family and has some medical challenges that create certain limitations for her. Despite this, her family is dedicated to helping her thrive. They’re focused on teaching Willow boundaries when playing with her brother and the kids, while also working on building calm behaviors through mental enrichment activities!
