🎈HAPPY 27th BIRTHDAY WHIMSEY 🎈Today (May 3rd) we celebrate our favorite (and cutest) miniature barn donkey WHIMSEY! In his honor, we are launching our very first fundraiser. Whimsey and all of his donkey and mule friends here at Mas Ass Acres Sanctuary receive top notch medical care from our favorite veterinarians at Sound Equine Veterinary Hospital. With most of our animals being in the elderly years, our costs are exceeding our budget. Pucker up 👄 Like all donkeys, Whimsey has highly sensitive semi-prehensile lips. That cute little snoot helps him feel and select what tasty morsels to chow down on. Even though Whimsey’s teeth can no longer chew long hay or wood, he still can take small bites of grass. Since Whimsey doesn’t always make good choices in what he tries to eat, we hand graze him twice a day to avoid another choke episode ❤️🫏 copyright Whimsey’s World 2026

Ever wonder what it is like to have an adorable donkey sidekick? I was working in the kitchen, making duct tape boots for one of our donkeys, when I looked over and Whimsey was happily watching all that I was doing. I propped the phone up and hit record. Whimsey has access to his paddock, stall, four legged friends and barn, but his favorite thing to do is be with his people. I love my job! ❤️🫏 copyright Whimsey’s World 2026
