Lessons with C**n Attudes
I have my momma cat, Birthday Cake, and she wants to share a lesson
with all the mommas out there. It's okay to be selfish at times. You
do not have to hide in the closet for your special treat. You have to
set boundaries and mean it! LOL
Once upon a time, in a cozy farmhouse, lived a silver Maine C**n named
Birthday Cake. She was a loving mother to seven fluffy kittens, each
as playful as a spring breeze. One starry night, while exploring the
kitchen after dark, Birthday Cake discovered the magic of a corn cob
smeared with the richest butter, and her humans had just discarded it!
Her heart danced joyfully as she imagined her kittens tasting this
delightful treat. With a flick of her tail, she hurried to the living
room carrying her treasure, mother instincts in overdrive. The kittens
squealed with delight as she presented the buttery cob, their little
paws batting at the buttery goodness. “Oh, Mommy, this is the best!”
they purred in unison. Birthday Cake smiled, knowing that giving them
joy was her greatest treasure. “I give you everything I can, my dear
kittens,” she said, her eyes twinkling. “But remember, there are
boundaries to learn as you grow.” I will not hesitate to teach you
these boundaries. Sometimes mommies need to have a little treat for
themselves, too. I still love you, but I draw the line at chicken
dinner.
